Director of IVF Laboratory
Born in Ankara in 1972, Şafak TAVUKÇUOĞLU graduated from Ankara Atatürk High School in 1989. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology in 1993. Between 1993 and 1996, she worked at the in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory of Ankara Sevgi Hospital. In 1997, she continued her studies at the embryology and andrology laboratories of Akita University Faculty of Medicine (Japan). She has participated in numerous scientific research projects on IVF published in international journals. She also worked at the IVF laboratory of Singapore National University Hospital. She has also participated in various training programs in the United States and Germany. Between 1997 and 2000, she worked at the IVF laboratory of Metropolitan Florence Nightingale Hospital and Hattat Hospital. She completed her Master’s degree in Histology and Embryology at Istanbul Science University. In 2012, she conducted collaborative research for six months at the IVF center of Shleswig Holstein University Campus Lülebeck. Since 2000, she has been working as the head of the Embryology laboratory at Ferti-Jin Assisted Reproductive Techniques Center.
