Born in Manisa, Dr. Seval TAŞDEMİR completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara before graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. She completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 1994, and subsequently received training in In Vitro Fertilization at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy).

Between 1999 and 2002, Op. Dr. Seval TAŞDEMİR worked at the “In Vitro Fertilization and Assisted Reproductive Techniques Center” of Zeynep Kamil Obstetrics and Gynecology and Children’s Hospital. As of September 2002, she continues her professional life as the Clinical Director of Obstetrics, Gynecology and In Vitro Fertilization at Ferti-Jin Women’s Health and Assisted Reproductive Techniques Center.

Op. Dr. Seval TAŞDEMİR has participated in various seminars in the fields of endocrinology and infertility both in Turkey and abroad, and has authored over 50 articles published in Türkiye and around the world.

For the first time in the world, he enabled two sibling families who were carriers of Netherton syndrome to have healthy babies through in-vitro fertilization and preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and this remarkable achievement was published in the prestigious Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics in 2011.
